Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is disappointed by the news that England midfielder Owen Hargreaves faces another spell on the sidelines due to a knee injury.
Hargreaves was forced to sit out the European Super cup defeat by Zenit St Petersburg, having seen his knee flare up during training on the eve of the game.

Ferguson commented: "He said he felt his knee and that he was not fit enough to play.
"There is nothing you can to do about it. If a player declares himself unfit you have to accept that.
"We'd have liked to play him and get him back into the run of things and playing football again.
"To be honest, he has not played enough football in the last year. He'd like to get back and it is disappointing."
Hargreaves, 27, joined United from Bayern Munich just over a year ago, but was restricted to 34 appearances during his first season at Old Trafford.
